At Amersham Men’s Shed we believe in the power of connection. Our values center around creating an environment for men, generally older, to meet and create friendships, to support our member ‘shedders’ as best we can and provide the facilities for our shedders to create and make wood work projects.

We provide a safe and welcoming space for older men to share experiences, learn new skills from each other and for some combat loneliness together or to assist them from becoming socially excluded encouraging engagement in the shed activities.

Join us and have tea, coffee, biscuits and cake (usually home made by our members – we have some seriously good bakers) whilst engaging in the frequent banter, debate and story telling during our breakfast and lunch periods, make new friends with your fellow shedders. Join us not to just build projects but build meaningful relationships with fellow shedders.
